Beer-Tour

The tourism project PMR-TOURS (Tours in Pridnestrovie/Transdniestria) offers you the Beer-Tour in Bender, the second biggest town in PMR (Pridnestrovie/Transdniestria). During this tour you will have the opportunity to visit the first brewery of PMR (Transdniestria) and to taste 6 beer sorts of the brand "Old Fortress": Classic, Original, Jubilee, Wheat, Belgian and Scottish.
The Bender brewery was founded in 1860. It produces beer, mineral water and non-alcoholic beverages. The brewery produced 1 million deciliter beer per year in soviet time. In 1984 the automatic filling line of Czech production was installed. This allowed to fill 24 thousands bottles per hour. About 240 persons work at the brewery today.
The beer "Старая крепость"-“The Old Fortress” is cooked from natural malt according to a special preservative-free technology with addition of hop and yeast without using stabilizers and flavor additives.
We invite you to visit the brewery in Bender and taste the live beer!
